Resumè: Linda’s Broad Skies Gallery in the Norfolk Broads, is open to visit all year, she has worked as a full time artist and tutor for twelve years, she is qualified having studied Teaching Through Creative Practice & Process at the University of East Anglia. Her work is in private collections worldwide. Inspired by everything around her, she prefers the freedom of painting from life, en plein air, in the countryside of Norfolk, France and Italy. As it evolves her work it is looser in style and brighter in colour. Linda works professionally in most media, her philosophy in painting is "Where ever you look there is something to paint, you can never be bored with a pencil and a sketch book". Linda, has had instructional articles published in Leisure Painter Magazine, had work selected for exhibition at the Designer & Artists Copyright Society in London, is a demonstrator for Chroma Atelier Acrylics, has tutored for Artist & Illustrator Magazine, as well as her own workshops & course Linda leads courses at Flatford Mill for the Field Studies Council and for the How Hill Trust in Norfolk at How Hill House She has made numerous Radio & Television appearances both locally and nationally Traveling widely to demonstrate and run workshops, Linda also undertakes commissions for private and commercial clients working on exclusive site-specific designs for brochures, stationery and gifts.
Linda is a Full Member of the Association of Illustrators, a Professional Associate of the Society of All Artists, a selected member of The Designer and Artists Copyright Society. A member of Federation of Small Businesses and Broads Tourism
