These courses are designed to be more relaxed than in the studio
 Linda will demonstrate techniques relating to the locations visited.
You need to be able to carry your own equipment.
For the walking & Cycling courses you need to be reasonably fit,
the pace will be leisurely.
Each day runs from 10am - 4.30pm
You will need to bring a packed lunch.

Broads Beaches and Boats, En Plein Air
in the Media of your Choice

Linda’s Studio is ideally placed to find beautiful locations in the Norfolk Broads, next to the River Ant within easy reach of the coast and many iconic locations which have inspired painters of the past;  Seago, Chrome, Cotman et al.

Your preferred media isn’t important, the principles of composition, perspective and colour mixing are the same, whatever you choose. This course is designed to develop your skills in the main principles of en plein air painting, learning ‘The Rules’ and then breaking them too!
 Linda’s teaching methods are designed to give you the confidence to develop your own style; she works with and teaches most media. Prior painting ability is not required, just an enthusiasm for exploring different approaches to committing creative ideas to paper and canvas.

Enjoy the beauty of the Broads by bike, a leisurely cycle ride stopping to sketch on the way. From Linda’s studio we can reach many different sites of inspiration and quiet escapes giving you a variety of subjects and challenges. A good store of subjects for your studio paintings .
